QNET Malaysia participated in the #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk which celebrates Malaysia’s diversity and promotes unity and understanding among all its people. About 50 QNET staff and networkers, led by QNET Chief Executive Officer Trevor Kuna and Associate V Partner Kalairasi Manikam, met at the Shah Alam Independence Square at the early hours of Sunday for the walk which was flagged-off by Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, the Sultan of Selangor.

Hosted by The Star, Malaysia’s leading English daily, the 5-kilometre walk was organised in conjunction with the upcoming Malaysian National Day and Independence Day, and drew about 6,000 people who walked together as one nation, solidified in harmony. As a company that celebrates ethnic and cultural diversity, and employs people from over 30 different countries, with IRs from over a 100 countries, this walk was an echo of the values and principles we hold close to our heart.

From royalty and captains of industry to celebrities and indigenous folk, Malaysians from all walks of life, all age groups, creed and colour, came together in a celebration of unity during the #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk 2017.

QNET staff and networkers together with the thousands of participants wearing their #AnakAnakMalaysia T-shirts and wristbands walked 5 kilometres around the Shah Alam City Centre in a strong show of unity, diversity and harmony. The event was a great way to mark Malaysia’s 60th Independence Day.
