QNET Malaysia staff celebrated World Refugee Day this year by bringing a group of forty refugee children to a fun-filled trip to the National Zoo.
The trip started off with a ride on a chartered bus for the children, who were accompanied by their chaperon, Mr. Elliot Tan. He saw that the children were filled with excitement, as they looked forward to a day of enjoyable adventures.
As soon as the group arrived, they were greeted with a briefing by the Staff Social Responsibility (SSR) committee, followed by an informal meet-and-greet session between QNET volunteers and the children. The volunteers and children were then paired up before setting off to explore the zoo in groups.
In addition, the volunteers donated money and giftscomprised of T-shirts and a lunch treat for the children.
QNET Malaysia staff volunteers noted that this was a memorable day trip filled with fun activities and learning opportunities for both the children and staff. This is one of many charitable activities QNET takes part in, to commit to its principles of Raise Yourself To Help Mankind (RYTHM), our motivating force.
